This is a 500GB HDD that was purchased new and used briefly in a storage bank that soon was reconfigured to relay data to a cloud solution. The drives in the bank have all been wiped using the standard US Department of Defense erasure protocol, the SMART details in the drive have been recorded and shared as screen shots for your assessment, and the drives have been recertified by the seller using standard publicly available drive management software by WD or Seagate.
This drive is a 500GB WD Blue SATA I drive with 16MB of cache.
