APPLE 2 RESET is a controller card for Apple 2 computers(Apple II and II Plus). It has an external button, which, when pressed,performs cold restart of the computer, similar to what the open-apple resetdoes on the Apple 2e.

The benefit is for computers without this capability so that thecomputer does not need to go through a power cycle to do the cold restart - itis achieved at the push of a button.

If the button is pressed twice quickly within 1 second then the computer disables any anti-reset routines, performs a warm reset and drops to monitor.

How you mount the switch is really up to you. You can be as gentle or invasive as your heart desires. The Metal tang on the switch is extra long so you can bend it or cut it to whatever size and shape you want. Use string through the eyelet holes on the switch or zip ties, or epoxy.
Whatever you are comfortable doing. There is no right or wrong way to mount the switch
