Hello and thanks for your interest! These are new cartridges that have never been opened or used. The dates written on the outside show when I purchased them from Staples. I did this to use up my older cartridges first. Unfortunately my 10 year old Canon printer just died on me so I needed to get a new one. And my new one doesn’t use these cartridges anymore. I also have another listing for colored ink cartridges. If interested, search my store or send me a message. Thank you!
