Unit has been powered on and function-tested. Front display, controls and media-feed mechanism operate correctly. Printer communicates with a PC and a print job was successfully sent through the printer during testing.
We also performed print testing using available 4” label stock and thermal-transfer ribbon. The printhead produced printed output; however, our available ribbon/media combination developed excessive ribbon drag/tension during extended testing. Because we do not have the correct production media/ribbon combination available to fully optimize the thermal-transfer setup, the printer has not been represented as newly calibrated or production-certified.
The printhead appears clean and intact. Photos include close-up images of the installed printhead and internal media path.
This printer came from a professional laboratory/production environment. Documentation accompanying the equipment indicated it was removed from service because it was no longer in use, rather than because of a documented equipment failure.
Cosmetic condition is very good for previously deployed industrial equipment. Expect minor marks from normal use and handling. Please review all photographs carefully.
