The Ultrium 5 serial attached SCSI (SAS) tape drive is a half-high tape drive designed for Open Systems backup and restore applications. These files can include multimedia, imaging, transaction processing, large databases, and other storage-intensive applications. It is the fourth generation in the Ultrium series of products, and is available with a Serial Attached SCSI interface (SAS). The tape drive is an LTO Ultrium 5 standard interchange device.
