NVMe M.2 PCIe 16 Dual Drive Adapter - Needs Bifurcation/Microsoft Software RAID
Price: US $25.25

The Dual NVMe PCIe Adapter allowsthe addition of two M.2 NVMe SSD slots via PCIe 5.0 x16. Additionally, itexpands an extra PCIe x16 slot (x8 signal), which can be utilized for expandingother PCIe devices, especially for motherboards with limited PCIe slots.

Hardware requirement:

1. The motherboard featuresavailable PCIe slots of version 5.0, 4.0, or 3.0 with x16 configuration.

2. The motherboard inherentlysupports PCIe x16 bifurcation and can be configured as "PCIe x8x4x4"within the BIOS.

3. All SSDs are of the M.2 PCIe (MKey) NVMe type. The CPU possesses sufficient channels to support an allocationof x8 + x4 + x4 at PCIe 5.0 speeds.

Compatible with M.2 PCI-e NVMe SSDsin all sizes: 110x22mm, 80x22mm, 60x22mm, and 42x22mm, 30x22mm. Does notsupport any M.2 (SATA-Based B+M Key) SSD. Motherboard Compatibility: Mostserver and X299, X399 motherboards can support PCIe x8x4x4 bifurcation.

1. PCIe 5.0 version, backwardcompatible with PCIe 4.0/3.0.

2. Two NVMe SSD slots arepositioned on opposite sides. Consequently, the card maintains a compact size, and an individual LED indicator for each SSD displays their operational status.

3. The additional PCIe x16 slot isparticularly valuable when no other PCIe slots are available on themotherboard.

Please Note:

1. No hardware RAID is supported;only software RAID (Windows 10/11) or third-party tools are applicable. It isrecommended to use two identical SSDs for RAID configurations.

2. The motherboard must support"PCIe x8x4x4 Bifurcation"; all slots will operate at full speed underthis condition. If the motherboard only supports "x4x4x4x4," theexpanded PCIe x16 slot will function with an x4 signal. If the motherboard doesnot support "PCIe Bifurcation," only the PCIe x16 slot will operate, and no M.2 SSDs will be recognized.

3. Please consult the motherboard'suser manual available on its official website if you are uncertain whether themotherboard supports these features.

4. If your motherboard onlysupports x4x4x4x4 bifurcation, the additional PCIe x16 slot will operate at anx4 signal, rather than x8.
