This sale is for a used PA-440 firewall security appliance.
This includes the device, 2 locking 12v power supply adapters, and the accessory bag. (A management cable isn't in the accessory bag, but any USB Micro cable should work). There are no standard AC power cords included to connect to the power supply adapters. You will need 1 or 2 standard AC cords, to plug into the adapter(s) to power the device.
It includes the original genuine PA carton with packaging, mounting accessories, and brochure. All licenses and subscriptions on the device have expired and are not current or valid. It has been disconnected from the prior owner's Palo Alto Portal account, but has not been decommissioned and can be reassigned to a new owner account.
This device will not be usable until the buyer does the following (which is from the Palo Alto Secondary Market Policy):
1. Existing licenses and subscriptions on the used device are considered expired and cannot be transferred.
2. Before the device can be supported or fully licensed for use under the new owner’s account, the buyer must place two separate orders with a Palo Alto Networks authorized reseller:• A non-refundable certification fee to enroll the secondary-market device.• A one-time activation fee plus at least a one-year support subscription (minimum). The buyer is free to purchase a longer support term if desired, and optional additional subscriptions are optional.
After those orders are placed, Palo Alto will perform a verification process (hardware condition check, tests, support file upload, etc.) before the device can be certified and used in the new owner’s CSP account.
The device was purchased in 2024 as a backup and used for less than a year. It was working when removed from service late last year. It's clean with no markings or scratches, there is some dust that appears in the photos.
Continental US buyers only. No international brokers or shipping agents outside of official international.
