Powered PCIe x1 to x16 GPU Riser for AI Compute Multi-GPU Workstation
Price: US $12.98
Add More GPUs to Your AI Compute System

Build or expand a multi-GPU workstation using this powered PCIe x1 to x16 GPU riser kit. It allows a full-size graphics or compute card to be installed away from the motherboard, making it useful for open-frame AI systems, GPU test benches, rendering machines, and other multi-GPU configurations.

The separate riser design provides additional installation flexibility when motherboard slot spacing, GPU size, or cooling requirements prevent the card from being installed directly into the system.

Suitable Applications
  • Multi-GPU AI inference systems
  • Local LLM and machine-learning experimentation
  • GPU compute and development workstations
  • Rendering and distributed processing
  • Open-air GPU test benches
  • Cryptocurrency mining systems

Important Bandwidth Information

This product provides a physical PCIe x16 slot operating through a PCIe x1 connection. It does not convert the motherboard slot into a full-bandwidth PCIe x16 interface.

It is best suited to GPU workloads that can remain primarily inside GPU memory after loading. Workloads involving frequent transfers between the CPU and GPU may experience reduced performance.

Installation and Safety
  • Completely shut down and disconnect the system before installation.
  • Never install, remove, or hot-swap the riser while power is connected.
  • The included USB-style cable carries PCIe data and must only be connected between the included PCIe adapter and riser board.
  • Do not connect this cable or riser to a normal USB port.
  • Make sure the GPU and riser receive sufficient power from a suitable power supply.
  • Direct PCIe power from the PSU is recommended for demanding installations.
  • The included SATA adapter should only be used within the safe power limits of the SATA connector.
  • Check motherboard, BIOS, operating-system, driver, and GPU compatibility before purchase.
  • Additional GPUs may require BIOS settings such as Above 4G Decoding.
  • AI software, GPU-memory capacity, and performance are determined by the installed GPU and system configuration.
