Samsung SSD 860 EVO M.2 1TB - MZ-N6E1T0 - M.2 2280 SATA III internal solid state drive. Firmware RVT22B6Q. Capacity 1,000,204,886,016 bytes (1.00 TB).
READ THIS FIRST - HIGH RUNTIME DRIVE
This drive has 28,878 power-on hours on it. That is 3 years and 4 months of continuous, 24/7 operation, and it is the reason this is priced below a low-hours drive. I am telling you before you scroll any further because you would find it yourself in five minutes with CrystalDiskInfo, and I would much rather you buy it knowing exactly what it is.
The other half of that story is that it has barely been written to.

WHY 28,878 HOURS BUT ONLY 6% LIFE USED
Those two figures look like they contradict each other. Both are accurate, and the reason matters if you are deciding whether to buy this.
An SSD is not a hard disk. There is no motor, no spindle, no head, nothing that wears out simply by being powered on. Hours alone do not consume an SSD life. What consumes it is writing - every NAND cell tolerates a finite number of program/erase cycles, and that is what Samsung Percentage Used counter actually tracks.
This drive is rated at 600 TBW. It has written 80.17 TB, about 13% of that rating, and the controller own wear counter agrees: 6% of life used, 94% remaining. Those numbers are consistent with each other and they describe an always-on system that sat powered up for years while writing very little - a machine left running rather than a machine worked hard.
The supporting counters all back that up. Zero reallocated sectors. Zero used reserved blocks, meaning not one spare block has been called into service. Zero program failures, zero erase failures, zero runtime bad blocks, zero uncorrectable errors, zero ECC errors, zero CRC errors, and an error log with nothing in it. This is a clean drive.
HONEST ASSESSMENT
High hours are a real fact and you should price them in - which is what I have done. 28,878 hours is a lot, and I am not going to pretend otherwise or bury it three paragraphs down. What I will say is that on an SSD the wear indicators are the numbers that predict remaining life, and every single one of them on this drive is clean.
Good value as a boot drive, a laptop upgrade, a games library, or general storage. As with any used drive - and honestly any drive at any age - I would not make it the only copy of something irreplaceable. Sold as-is.
DATA SANITIZATION
Securely erased with a full-disk zero overwrite across every addressable block, then verified afterward as RAW with no partition table. No previous data is recoverable by normal means. Ships unformatted - initialize it in Windows Disk Management, or just point your OS installer at it.
WHAT YOU GET
One (1) bare Samsung 860 EVO M.2 1TB SATA SSD. No mounting screw, no heatsink, no adapter, no retail box, no cables.
Note the interface before you buy: this is an M.2 SATA drive, not NVMe. It is M.2 2280 and it will physically fit an M.2 slot, but the slot must support SATA mode. Many modern boards are NVMe-only and this drive will not work in them. Check your board manual if you are unsure - I would rather answer that question now than process a return later.
WARRANTY
The original Samsung warranty has expired. Sold as-is, with the full SMART data above disclosed.
