• PCIe Backwards Compatibility: While it will physically fit and work in older PCIe Gen3 M.2 slots, maximum speeds will be capped at Gen3 interface limitations (~3,500 MB/s). A Gen4 compatible motherboard/processor is required to achieve full 7,000 MB/s performance.
• NOT for SATA slots: This is NOT a legacy SATA M.2 drive (it will not function or be detected in SATA-only M.2 ports).
