The Seagate Expansion Desktop is a high-capacity external hard drive built for users who need serious, no-fuss storage at home or in the office. With up to 26TB of space, it’s purpose-built for archiving large media libraries, consolidating files from multiple devices onto a single drive, or freeing up space on an internal drive that’s running low. The simple plug-and-play design means no software or drivers are needed — connect the USB cable and power adapter, and the drive is ready to use immediately on Windows.
What sets the Expansion Desktop apart from basic external drives is the inclusion of Rescue Data Recovery Services. For 3 years from purchase, Seagate will attempt to recover data from the drive in the event of accidental damage, deletion, or drive failure — a meaningful safety net for anyone storing irreplaceable files. Combined with USB 3.0 speeds and a reliable desktop form factor, it offers strong value for home users, creative professionals, and small businesses alike.
