The Synology® RackStation RS2414+/RS2414RP+ offers a powerful, scalable and full-featured network attached storage solution that meets all the needs of companies looking for an efficient way to centralize data protection, simplify data management and increase storage capacity quickly and with minimal time spent on setup and administration.

High data throughput performance

When Link Aggregation is enabled, the Synology RS2414+/RS2414RP+ delivers an average read speed of 339.63 MB/s. in a Raid 5 configuration in a Windows ® environment, while the write speed was 209.14 MB/sec. lies1. Synology RS2414+/RS2414RP+ gives you the high performance your data-intensive applications need from a storage system. In addition, you can expand the storage capacity.

Resilient and reliable

Aside from excellent performance, the RS2414+/RS2414RP+ is also characterized by reliability. Four LAN ports guarantee redundancy in the event of hardware failures and thanks to hot-swappable drives, system downtime when replacing data storage media can be kept as short as possible. The passive cooling technology also means that no dedicated processor fan is required. If one fan fails, the integrated redundancy mechanism increases the speed of the remaining fans to improve cooling. Continuous availability is a critical goal for all companies. However, many companies around the world are not prepared for disasters. Synology High Availability (SHA) can ensure seamless switching between cluster servers in the event of a server failure. This occurs with minimal impact to applications to reduce the risk of unexpected failures and costly downtime.

Robust and affordable scalability up to 144TB

If the storage capacity of the Synology RS2414+/RS2414RP+ reaches its limits, it can easily be expanded with the Synology RX1214/RX1214RP. Synology RS2414+/RS2414RP+ connects to Synology RX1214/RX1214RP in a secure manner via a specially designed cable to ensure maximum continuity. The Synology RX1214/RX1214RP can directly expand the existing storage space of the Synology RS2414+/RS2414RP+ to a maximum of 144 TB. iSCSI allows SMB users to consolidate their storage into data center storage arrays while keeping hosts believing the disk is Buyers
