With its improved composition, the MX-6 has a measurably lower thermal resistance than the MX-4. We measured the absolute thermal resistance of both pastes on our lab-testing machine, which is much more accurate than a CPU. Two factors are mainly relevant: - Conductivity - Minimum bond line thickness. A lower thermal resistance of the paste leads to a lower temperature difference between the CPU and cooler.

These enable simple and residue-free cleaning of the contact surfaces. The cleaner consists of 100% limonene, a natural substance obtained from citrus essential oil.
