Travel straight back to 2008 and the definitive golden era of desktop replacement notebooks with an authentic, beautifully preserved powerhouse: an original Toshiba Satellite L350 (Model PSLD8U-0SS03C) 17.0" Widescreen Notebook PC running its factory-original Windows XP Professional installation!

Having the original factory operating system installation makes this machine exceptionally desirable for collectors, archivists, and retro enthusiasts: all proprietary Toshiba motherboard chipset drivers, Intel GMA 4500MHD display acceleration, audio codecs, touchpad controls, and specialty function hotkeys are completely native and fully configured out of the box—with zero missing driver yellow exclamation marks!

Finished in Toshiba’s premium deep onyx-blue glossy Fusion finish with an expansive interior deck and a full-sized keyboard featuring a dedicated 10-key numeric keypad, the Satellite L350 was built as an uncompromising 17-inch desktop replacement. Powered by a high-efficiency Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor P8400 running at 2.26GHz (Penryn 45nm architecture, 3MB L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB, 25W TDP), 3.00 GB of DDR2 RAM (2.87 GB usable with Physical Address Extension), and an internal 320GB Hitachi Travelstar SATA hard drive (Model: HTS543232L9SA00 / 290 GB formatted NTFS C: partition with over 257 GB of free space), this massive notebook boots cleanly and swiftly into an authentic installation of Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Version 2002, Service Pack 3) complete with the classic Bliss wallpaper!

For retro PC gamers, vintage hardware collectors, and software archivists, an authentic bare-metal Windows XP machine with a native 17-inch display is the ultimate holy grail for 1990s and 2000s classics that run into DRM blocks (SafeDisc/SecuROM), 16-bit installer bugs, scaling issues, or audio driver incompatibilities on Windows 10/11. Backed by integrated Intel graphics, it effortlessly powers through era-defining favorites like The Sims & The Sims 2, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 & 2, Half-Life 2, Portal, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, StarCraft: Brood War, Age of Empires II, Civilization III & IV, Quake III Arena, Unreal Tournament 2004, and classic PopCap games.

Condition Notes

• Functional Condition: 100% bench-tested and fully operational. Boots cleanly and swiftly into its original factory installation of Windows XP Professional SP3 with all native Toshiba drivers and utilities verified. The Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor runs cool and responsive, memory tests healthy, and the 320GB Hitachi hard drive reads and writes cleanly with a healthy partition. The expansive 17.0" widescreen display is bright, clear, and evenly illuminated with vibrant colors. Keyboard keys, numeric keypad, touchpad, USB ports, display output, volume wheel, and optical burner function properly. Please note: As with all retro laptops, vintage lithium-ion battery cells degrade over time; batteries may not hold much of a charge anymore. The system operates reliably and smoothly when powered via the included AC power adapter.

• Cosmetic Condition: Great vintage condition overall. The glossy deep-blue exterior lid and interior deck are structurally solid with sturdy hinge tension and no cracked chassis plastic. Shows light, normal cosmetic surface marks, faint shelf wear, and minor hairline scuffs on the glossy outer surfaces consistent with careful use and vintage age. The 17" display glass is clean and free of cracks. Original palm rest badge, bold white Toshiba lid emblem, and the underside regulatory label (PSLD8U-0SS03C) remain intact and legible. Please review the high-resolution photos for an exact look at physical condition.
