This USB Dual Type-C Hub is perfect for newer MacBook Pro and other compatible devices with USB Type-C port enabled. Aluminum Space Gray housing is solid and durable yet extremely light weight and compact. Plug n Play ensures simple operation with no driver to worry about.
The first USB Type-C port is compatible to Thunderbolt 3 devices with speed up to 40Gbps. It is also compliant with Power Delivery (PD) protocol(100W maximum) so you can charge your device (such as MacBook) and use this hub to connect to external devices such as mouse and keyboard all at the same time. To use the Power Delivery function the host USB-C port on your device must support USB-C Power Delivery protocol, and the USB-C input charging port is not designed to transfer data. The second Type-C port can transfer data at up to 5Gbps.
The 2 x SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports can transfer date at a lightening fast speed of 5Gbps. These two ports can also deliver a combined 1.8 Amp or 9 Watts of power for your devices, so charging your mobile devices through these USB 3.0 ports is possible, and they are downward compatible to all USB 2.0 devices.
The onboard card reader can read and write a great varieties of memory cards such as SD, SDHC, SDHC UHS I/II/III, SDXC, SDXC UHS I/II/III, Micro SD, Micro SDHC, Micro SDHC UHS I/II/III, Micro SDXC, and Micro SDXC UHS I/II/III cards of up to 2TB in capacity, or handling HD videos or even 4K HD videos won't be a problem with the right class of memory cards.
Power input is 5V to 20VDC with a maximum power delivery of 100W. Some 2.4 GHz wireless devices and USB 3.0 devices may not be supported due to factory incompatibility on certain protocol.
