No, this enclosure only supports PCIe NVMe SSDs with an M-Key or B+M-Key connector. AHCI SATA and B-Key only SSDs are not supported.

Will I get 40Gbps speeds on any computer?

To reach the full 40Gbps/3800MB/s performance, your host device must support Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 at 40Gbps. Performance will be limited on Thunderbolt 3 or standard USB-C ports.

Is a driver required?

No, the enclosure is plug and play on Windows, macOS and Linux.
