This phone operates using Power over Ethernet (PoE) and requires a compatible power source. There are two ways to power this phone:PoE Network Switch: Connect the phone to a PoE-enabled network switch using an Ethernet cable. The switch supplies both network connectivity and electrical power through the Ethernet connection.Separate PoE Injector/Adapter: If you do not have a PoE-enabled switch, you can purchase a compatible PoE injector to provide power to the phone through a standard Ethernet connection. For testing purposes, I personally used a separate PoE injector/adapter rather than a PoE switch, and the phones powered on and functioned properly. Please note: A PoE switch, PoE injector/adapter, and Ethernet cable are NOT included with this purchase.Features
