These "riser cards" let you plug a PCI-Express x16 card into a PCI-Express x1 slot. A USB 3.0 cable connects between the socket and the card adapter. Power for the card can come from a 6-pin molex-style power socket (like those found on graphics card.) A SATA-power to 6-pin adapter is included. I bought these for a Raspberry Pi related project (when I learned the Pi 4 had PCI-e) but never used them. I'm selling them as-is.
