The Oracle/SUN/StorageTek T10000 T2 Universal Cleaning Tapes 003-5442-01 are designed for use in cleaning Oracle StorageTek T10000 or T10k A, B, C, and D drives. The Oracle SUN StorageTek T10k universal cleaning tape comes as standard un-labelled tapes 003-5442-01, or they can be pre-labelled T10k universal cleaning tapes 003-5442-01-L. Oracle provides a limited warranty for their tapes.
Oracle StorageTek has discontinued the production and sale of the T10000 T2 drive cleaning cartridges therefore this is the only stock we have available! These tapes are available to overseas buyers, so please use "contact us" if you wish to purchase some as our online store is only available to Australian and New Zealand buyers.
T10K Cartridge Handling
- Handle the cartridges carefully as they may be damaged when dropped.
- Labels should be applied to the front recessed area only and don't put labels on any surface of the tape.
- Do not place the cartridge near a source of high-intensity magnetic fields like PC monitors, electric motors, stereo speakers or hard drives.
- Do not touch or expose the tape itself. Natural skin oils and dust can contaminate the tape and degrade its performance.
- Always store and operate your T10k tape within the following condition ranges

A cleaning cartridge is used to clean a tape drive’s head and tape path, with a limited number of passes before it must be replaced. If used beyond the rated passes, the tape drive will reject the cartridge and display an error message. Cleaning cartridges can be identified by their white access door.The StorageTek T10000 T2 cleaning cartridge is compatible with the T10000A, T10000B, T10000C, and T10000D tape drives and replaces the discontinued Part Number 00-03827-01. These high-capacity cartridges, ideal for backup, disaster recovery, and archiving applications, offer up to 8.5 TB of storage with the T10000D drive and 5 TB with the T10000C drive. The cartridges are also future-proof, able to be reformatted for next-generation drives. Additionally, VolSafe secure media technology provides WORM protection, while the barium ferrite formulation ensures long-term stability and security.
