Most things on this computer are still functioning. The display is in good condition, as can be seen in the photos, but has some dark spots/areas around the edge of the monitor. This was tested right before listing, using Linux Mint 21 running from a USB thumb drive, as seen in the pictures. The USB thumb drive is not included.
The computer has issues booting, and will get stuck cycling the pre-OS loading. Usually, opening the memory compartment then closing it will fix it.
This laptop was in a backpack that had a Silica Gel packet come open, and little gel pellets got inside the computer. They do not cause problems with the computer, but they rattle around which sounds like something has broken loose.
Comes with a Seagate 320 GB HDD, untested. The carriage for the hard drive is missing.
The keyboard works but has some issues. Keys in some areas of the keyboard need to be pressed harder than normal to work. The keys themselves are in solid shape. The keys arenotbacklit on this device.
The case is in good condition. There is light cosmetic damage from normal use. The rubber feet are all missing. Some of the case screws, and all of the case screws for the memory/HDD compartment are missing. The monitor hinges are still firm with no problems.
One battery is included, but does not hold a charge. The original power cord is included.
The fan runs quietly. Running Linux the computer does not get hot or seem to have any electrical problems. None of the external ports were tested, except for the one using the USB drive.
