With US patent which explains how it works and adjusts, not that you'll need that INSTRUCTIONS 1. Install the Blade if needed o Insert the punch-down blade into the tool. o Align the blade correctly. o Rotate approximately one-quarter turn to lock it into place. 2. Adjust Impact Setting Screw at top of tool o Low for smaller-gauge wire. o High for larger-gauge wire or harder terminations. 3. Position the Wire o Place the wire into the terminal slot of the punch-down block. 4. Orient the Blade o Position the cutting side of the blade toward the excess wire that will be trimmed. o Ensure the blade is aligned squarely with the terminal. 5. Terminate the Connection o Press the tool STRAIGHT DOWN onto the terminal. o Continue applying pressure until the impact mechanism activates. o The wire will be seated into the IDC terminal and the excess wire cut (if using a cutting blade). 6. Inspect the Termination o Verify that the conductor is fully seated. o Confirm that excess wire has been trimmed cleanly. o Re-terminate if necessary.
