REFERENCE LAPTOP DELL E5530-1

This is a DELL LATITUDE E5530 Intel Core i5 processorlaptop that was one of my personal fleet (for testing software) andupgraded to a nice clean-install Windows 11 Pro 26H2 (activated –digital license) machine ready for use as a great lightweight Internetbrowsing, e-mail, and general-purpose laptop though it was primarily designedto be a business laptop. This is one solid laptop! Asthis is and older (circa 2014) model, but runs Windows 11 Pro pretty muchflawlessly and it’s very snappy (boot time about 13 seconds)! This isyour chance to get a low-cost but capable Windows 11 Pro laptop at a fractionof the cost of a new expensive Windows 11 laptop. I’ve alsoupdated this laptop to the latest (and final) BIOS version. It includes a*NEW* 6-cell 60Wh battery , a *NEW* CMOS battery, a *NEW* Silicon Power 256gbSSD (instead of an OEM mechanical hard drive or an old worn-out SSD) – **currentlyabout a $50 value**, a 2-port USB 3.0 Express card for two additional USB 3.0ports, a 1tb SDXC card for extra storage for a total of 1.25tb of storage!(**note that the price of SATA drives has nearly *TRIPLED* in the past 6months!**) and a 90W AC power adapter.***This laptop also includes a lifetime license of Microsoft Office ProPlus 2019 (NOT cheaper Office 365)*** -- not something you see too often onE-bay laptop listings! ;)

**This has the Intel HD 4000 HD integrated graphics andHDR support**

**Have you also noticed how newer laptop lack valuableports just to streamline them and cut costs?**WELL…NOT A PROBLEM FOR THESE E55XX SERIES LAPTOPS! Thisparticular E5530 laptop DOES NOT have a BUILT-IN WEBCAM, but most basic USBwebcams are about $20 or less if desired. This particular version ofthe E5530 DOES NOT have a fingerprint reader/card. This model does have a 8x DVD R/RW drive

This machine is exceptionally clean with minimal wear andsurface scratches and fully functional. The matte screen is inexcellent condition with nothing to deter the resolution.

Known cosmetic defects: some minorscratches/scuffs on outer case, some normal wear on the keyboard and touchpad– However, there may be minor cosmetic differences that do not affectfunctionality in any way. **This one does have a corner of plasticmissing (please see pic) which is cosmetic only and does not affect function inany way.** **This one isotherwise mostly pristine! (please see pics and all listed specs below)**

I take personal pride in repurposing these older machinesthat still have plenty of life in them when not pushed beyond their reasonablelimits. If you need a very capable, lower-cost snappy extra/spare laptopfor general use with significant storage capabilities and a smaller than 17"screen this is a laptop for you! Ifyou're looking for a [more expensive] gaming laptop, this laptop is NOT foryou! If you can find a better Latitude E5530with everything I've included for a better price than I offer, please buy itinstead! ;) ***PLEASE take the time toread the details in this listing carefully as you can see I put a lot of time& effort into creating very detailed listings for my potential buyer'sconvenience*** **Please also see pics ofsystem specs for this laptop as well as the pic of all Device Manager driversproperly installed**

I sell these machines as projects to repurpose them and onlymake a little profit to cover the replacement parts and time spent – I am on amission to keep these otherwise very capable machines out of landfills ande-waste piles. If not using a Bluetooth mouse (to save USB ports) Isuggest buying a wireless USB mouse with a dongle for this laptop which worksflawlessly with this laptop as a plug-n-play device. Note that althoughthis laptop has Bluetooth 4.0, not all latest and greatest Bluetooth devices maywork well with it. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE purchasingand thanks for looking!

NOTE: Because this is an electronic device and Ihave no control over how the buyer uses it after received, I CANNOT acceptreturns unless the machine arrives physically damaged as evidenced by shipperhandling. This laptop is otherwise guaranteed to work as described. These are not "buy and try" laptops as it would not be feasible forme to sell them otherwise. Thank you for your understanding!
