Although this laptop has been modified for a child, it is still capable of going online. The Ethernet port and the Wi-Fi adapter have been disabled to prevent a child from going online. However, you could enable both by enabling them in Device Manager (see photo). Also, Mozilla Firefox is installed as seen in the Communications menu (see photo). But, this is a 20+ year-old computer - doubtful that the online experience would be super great. It might be a little better if you were to install the MyPal Browser, available for download at many places.
Considering this laptop is 20+ years-old, we are considering this PC to be in VERY GOOD condition. It has few minor scuffs and scratches, but overall looks pretty darn good (see photos). The laptop functions fine, including the DVD-ROM drive. The battery seems to hold a charge, and we had it run for about 1 hour and 15 minutes before we got a "battery low" warning. We only can see ONE problem with this laptop - the front panel LED lights do not work (see photo). It is 3 LEDs for the Power, Hard Drive, and Battery. We opted not to repair it since this laptop was being made for a child and that it didn't/doesn't matter.
Comes complete with 6 (six) CDs that are required to run six of the games, and a CD with the Owner's Manual and Drivers for this laptop.
Also included in this sale is the AC Power Supply/Charger, and a brand NEW 64 GB Flash Drive.
A child in your life would LOVE THIS! Let's not let another great vintage laptop end up in recycling or in a landfill!
