NOS Gefen VGA to DVI Scaler Plus, part number EXT-VGA-2-DVISP. Factory sealed in the original bag, in the original retail box, with the user manual and a bagged Gefen VGA cable.
Converts and scales an analog VGA or component source to a DVI-I output so a legacy PC, laptop, DVD player, or set-top box can drive a DVI monitor or projector. Input resolution is auto-detected. Output resolution and refresh are set from the front-panel buttons and on-screen menu. Aspect control covers native and full-view modes. 48 MB frame memory handles frame-rate conversion. DVI-I output is digital plus analog, so a DVI-to-HDMI adapter cable can be used for video only.
Manufacturer: Gefen, LLC (now part of Nortek / Core Brands AV). This model is discontinued. The later replacement is EXT-VGA-DVI-SC, which is not the same unit.
