The Home Renovation Budget Calculator is a calculating spreadsheet (not a blank planner) for Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for kitchen, bathroom and whole-home renovations, whether you DIY or hire a contractor. Add every task by room and category, and it calculates your total cost, an automatic contingency buffer, a recommended budget compared with your target budget, and actual spent, % of budget used and amount remaining. You receive one Excel workbook (.xlsx) and one PDF version.

3. Add every task On the Renovation tab, add tasks with estimated and actual costs, then follow your totals on the Dashboard.
