IBM PC Computer Frankenstein System 5161 / 5160 See Pics READ Vintage Retro
Price: US $228.88
This is not a 5161 expansion system. I believe someone cobbled this system together with leftover parts. I believe the board is for the 5160, but I could be wrong. Comes with FDD controller, 5.25” drive, and MDA card. No MFM HDD or anything like that.
I had trouble getting this unit to recognize a drive, so I’m just trying to sell and recoup some of my money. Not sure what’s wrong with it, this is not my expertise.
Please see all pics. FDD reads disks with no issues. I didn’t encounter any other issues with the unit in testing.
Comes with just the computer, no monitor or keyboard
