POWER ADAPTER INFORMATION
An aftermarket USB wall adapter is included with this listing.
The included adapter is not the original IOGEAR-branded power supply, but it provides the correct output required by the GWU637:
- Input: 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz
- Output: 5V DC, 500mA
- USB output for use with the included cable
The GWU637 requires a 5V DC USB power source capable of supplying 500mA. The included aftermarket adapter matches that requirement and can be used with the supplied USB power cable.
Because the adapter is aftermarket, buyers should not expect IOGEAR branding on the wall plug.
NETWORK COMPATIBILITY
The GWU637 supports 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless networking and includes a 10/100 Ethernet port for the connected device.
It is intended for devices that have an Ethernet connection but do not have built-in Wi-Fi or where a separate wireless bridge is preferred.
Buyers should confirm that their network provides a compatible 2.4GHz connection before purchase.
