What was done: both machines powered on, were factory reset, and were confirmed clear of iCloud and MDM. That is the full extent of the testing.
What was not done: keyboards, trackpads, batteries, speakers, cameras, ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were not checked on either unit. No battery cycle counts or health readings were pulled.
Lot of two Apple MacBook Air 13 inch, 2017 model, each with a 1.8GHz processor, 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. Both power on and have been factory reset and cleared. iCloud and MDM are off on both.
8GB is the useful configuration on this model, and the memory is soldered so it cannot be upgraded later. These run macOS up to Monterey. Good pair for a repair shop, a reseller, or anyone who wants two machines to test and refurbish. Each unit is described separately below.
