HOW IT OPERATES

• Fan speed is fully automatic and based on the temperature probe. There are no manual speed controls.
• Below 81°F (27°C) the fans are off.
• At 81°F (27°C) the fans turn on and the yellow Fan LED flashes. Fan speed ramps up proportionally as the temperature rises, up to 100 CFM at full speed.
• The front display shows the current rack temperature.

ALARMS AND OUTPUTS

• Overtemp alarm: at the default setting of 100°F (37°C), the red Alarm LED lights, the display shows OVERTEMP, and the Over Temp dry contact on the rear closes.
• The alarm set point is adjustable from 95°F to 115°F (35°C to 46°C) using the button on the side of the controller. Press once to view the current setting. Each additional press raises it 1°F. Press and hold for 3 seconds to switch the display between °F and °C.
• Fan fault: if any fan stops, the display shows FAN FAULT and the Fan Fault dry contact on the rear closes.
• Both outputs are normally open dry contacts with screw terminals, for connecting to an external alarm or monitoring system. The unit has no built-in buzzer or audible alarm.
