The Backstory (Why I’m Selling and Not Using This):I originally purchased this premium module to upgrade a corporate returned Lenovo ThinkPad. Upon opening the machine's chassis, I realized the system was already maxed out at its proprietary capacity limit and didn't have an available slot for it. Because it couldn't be installed, the RAM was immediately placed back in a my desk drawer and left completely untouched in its original packaging. I recently cleared out my tech stash, found it sitting sealed alongside some spare M.2 SSDs, and decided it’s time to pass it along to someone who can actually use it.
Do you need one of these but the prices are pretty high? Here's one that's essentially new in package that someone else didn't need.
Compatibility:This is premium-grade, lab-tested memory manufactured by OWC—the gold standard for Mac upgrades—but it is 100% compatible with both PC and Mac environments. It is a perfect drop-in upgrade for:
- Lenovo ThinkPads (such as the T470 series and similar mid-generation business laptops)
- Dell, HP, and ASUS laptops requiring 2400MHz DDR4 SODIMMs
- Intel-based Apple iMacs and Mac Minis utilizing DDR4 2400MHz memory slots
