🔧 Installation Guide (15–25 Minutes, Basic Tools: Phillips Screwdriver)

⚠️ SAFETY FIRST: POWER OFF | UNPLUG AC CORD! The blade is extremely sharp—WEAR CUT-RESISTANT GLOVES during installation to avoid serious injury.

1. Power off the plotter and unplug the power cord. Open the top cover and locate the cross cutter assembly on the right side of the media path.
2. CRITICAL : Take clear photos of the wiring harness (connector location) and mounting screw positions for reference.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side of the cross cutter unit.
4. Remove the 2-4 mounting screws (Phillips head) securing the cutter assembly to the chassis. Gently lift the old unit out of the plotter.
5. Unpack the new original Graphtec PM-CC-002 cross cutter. Ensure the protective plastic cover is still on the blade during handling.
6. Lower the new unit into the chassis, aligning it with the mounting holes. Secure it with the original screws (do not over-tighten).
7. Reconnect the electrical connector firmly until it clicks into place.
8. Remove the protective plastic cover from the blade. Close the top cover and reconnect the power cord.
