PolyDissolve™ S1

PolyDissolve™ S1 is a water dissolvable support material that’s compatible with PLA, TPU, PVB and Nylon filaments from our portfolio. It is specifically engineered to have a perfect interface with these materials, supporting them while printing while also displaying accelerated solubility in room temperature water after printing.

Removing the support

a) PolyDissolve™ S1 is designed to be partially removable by hand so werecommend to remove the support that can be easily pealed o! beforesubmerging the model into water.

b) After partially removing the support the model can be submerged in waterto dissolve away the rest of the support. This process can be speed up byagitating the water, using warm water (>50˚C) or regularly changing thewater.

Note: The preferred method of disposal for polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) support material is inthe trash. The immersion of 3D printed objects into water containing support material willgenerate wastewater containing PVA. It is suggested that you contact your local SanitarySewer (Wastewater) Authority to obtain the proper disposal method prior to discharging tothe sewer.
