- Note: the "Error Information Log Entries" counter reads 3,122. This is an informational host-command log, not a media or data error count (media errors = 0), and does not affect the health rating.
Please Note: This is a pre-owned SSD manufactured in May 2020, with 3,234 power-on hours and approximately 12.9 TB of lifetime writes logged at time of listing (see S.M.A.R.T. data in photos). The drive reports 8% of its rated endurance used, 100% available spare, and zero media errors. It is sold based on its current tested condition and diagnostic data as shown, not as new-equivalent hardware.
Drive Sanitization & Setup Note: This drive has been wiped using a DoD-standard overwrite and does not contain any data, operating system, or pre-existing partitions. On first connection, Windows may show it as "Not Initialized," "Unallocated," or 0 bytes/RAW — this is normal and does not indicate a defective drive. To use it, initialize and format the drive via Windows Disk Management (Start → right-click This PC → Manage → Disk Management → Initialize Disk → New Simple Volume) or Disk Utility on Mac.
Compatibility Note: This is an M.2 2230 (22mm x 30mm) NVMe PCIe drive. It will NOT work in a SATA-only M.2 slot, and it is shorter than the common 2280 size — longer slots may need a 2230-to-2280 extension bracket (not included). Originally supplied as a Dell OEM part (DPN 0CNYM8). Please confirm your device supports PCIe NVMe M.2 2230 before purchasing.
What's Included: 1x Samsung PM991 128GB M.2 2230 NVMe SSD only — no enclosure, adapter, extension bracket, heatsink, thermal pad, screw, or cloning software included. Please refer to this list, not the stock photo, to confirm exactly what is included with this listing.
Buyer Expectations: This is a bare OEM component sold for use in a PC-building, upgrade, or IT context. It does not include an installed OS, drivers, or setup software. Buyers should be comfortable with basic drive installation, initialization, and formatting, or should have access to someone who is, before purchasing.

Samsung PM991 Client NVMe SSD
The Samsung PM991 is a compact OEM NVMe solid state drive built for thin-and-light laptops, tablets, and small-form-factor systems. It uses a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and the NVMe protocol to deliver sequential read speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s at the 128GB capacity — several times faster than a SATA SSD.
The PM991 is engineered end-to-end by Samsung, pairing a Samsung in-house controller and firmware with Samsung 3D TLC V-NAND flash memory. Its DRAM-less design uses Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology and an SLC write cache to balance speed, power efficiency, and cost, while Ball Grid Array (BGA) packaging keeps the drive small and low-profile.
