Description
Synology DS3617xs 12-bay NAS with 16GB RAM, a Synology E10G18-T1 network card, and 11 installed drives.
The system and all 11 installed drives report Healthy in Synology Storage Manager. The HDD RAID 6 storage pool completed data scrubbing on September 16, 2026.
The system has been updated to DSM 7.4.1-90080. The DSM Update screen reported the software as up to date when checked on October 9, 2026.
Known issue — Bay 11
Since wiping the system, bay 11 has not recognized drives. The cause has not been diagnosed. It may be an easy fix, or it may require a more involved repair; there is no guarantee that this bay can be restored to working order. The price reflects this issue.
The other 11 bays currently recognize their installed drives, and all installed drives report DS3617xs 12-bay NAS

Data scrubbing was completed on the HDD RAID 6 pool. The SSD RAID 0 pool shows no completed data scrub and has no redundancy. Capacities are listed as displayed by DSM.
