All you do is plug it into an available USB 2.0 or 3.0 input and Windows wall automatically install it and recognize it. Then you can use any source such as a microphone in the mic input side. Then put your speaker output in the other side of the unit and you'll be able to hear the sounds you produce through your stereo computer speakers.

It has a button to press if you want to mute the mic or you can do it with windows software. I have also tried using a splitter with this and you can split the sound two ways by inserting the splitter into the input rather than the speaker cable. You can also input LPS or 45s or a variety of other sources via a 3.5 mm input cord into the mic side. Convert files and more.
