The VSDINSIDE VSD K1 Pro is a wired 87-key mechanical gaming and streaming keyboard with an integrated stream controller deck. It uses a QWERTY layout, connects over USB-C, and works with Windows, macOS, PCs and laptops (minimum Windows 10 or Mac OS 11 Big Sur). Power is supplied through the corded USB connection.
All keys are programmable on board. Macros can be recorded and assigned freely to any key, and shortcuts, macros and multi-step operation flows can be configured through a web-based interface or the VSD Craf software. The device requires a reset after software reinstallation or update.
The stream controller deck function, accessed through the VSD Craf software, supports unlimited switchable pages; each page provides 6 LCD keys and 3 knobs that can be assigned individual actions or action sequences such as game combos, application launching and media control. Each LCD key can be assigned custom images and animations in JPG, PNG or GIF format. A built-in TFT color display and multi-function knobs are used to switch and customize GIFs, volume, date and time, backlighting and connection modes. Screen images/GIFs and date/time calibration require software installation under Windows or macOS and a wired connection.
The PCB is hot-swappable and accepts 3-pin or 5-pin switches without soldering; the keyboard ships with pre-lubed linear red mechanical switches and pre-lubed stabilizers, and a keycap/switch puller is included. Construction uses a gasket mount with extended integrated silicone pads, PCB single-key slotting and a 5-layer sound-dampening structure filling gaps between the PCB, plate and switches to reduce cavity noise. The case is ABS, the plate is aluminum, and the enclosure also uses plastic and rubber components.
RGB backlighting supports multiple dynamic effects plus monochrome and multi-color modes with over 16.8 million colors, adjustable via the LCD keys, software or shortcut keys. The keyboard has concave keycaps, adjustable stands set to 3, 6 or 13 degrees, and non-slip rubber feet. It is rated for 50 million keystrokes and is not water resistant.
