Key Tronic KB101 Professional Series — Vintage 101-Key Keyboard (Made in USA)
A classic Key Tronic KB101 Professional Series full-size 101-key keyboard, built in the U.S.A. These use Key Tronic’s well-regarded foam-and-foil capacitive key switches — a smooth, tactile, and notably quiet typing feel that vintage keyboard enthusiasts seek out. (This is the Professional Series slider design — not a modern Cherry-style “clicky” mechanical.)
Fully tested
Every single key was individually verified working using a keyboard-diagnostic utility (Lenovo Commercial Vantage) — no dead, stuck, or chattering keys.
Connects to just about anything — both adapters included
The keyboard’s native plug is a 5-pin DIN (AT/XT) connector. It ships with both of the adapters you need:
- a DIN → PS/2 adapter, and
- a PS/2 → USB adapter.
So you can run it on a vintage AT/XT machine, a PS/2 port, or a modern USB computer. The USB adapter also has a spare green PS/2 pass-through, free for a mouse. There is an AT/XT mode switch on the underside as well.
Condition — honest vintage
Used, with cosmetic aging consistent with its age — the beige plastic has yellowed/tanned and a few keycaps show light wear. Every key tested and working; functionally excellent, cosmetically a clean, well-kept vintage classic.
