This sale is for a vintage Systemax 255II3 laptop. It has been tested to power on and boot into Windows XP SP3. Per our security policy, all personal data and documents have been purged. The original battery no longer holds a charge but the OEM AC adapter is included.
Cosmetic wise: The laptop has the usual wear and tear. There are some marks on the lid and bottom chassis. The palm-rest and keyboard show signs of wear. All the rubber feet and screws are present and intact.
Performance wise: On a cold boot, performance can be sluggish but it will improve as the laptop warms up. Performance drops are to be expected with vintage hardware and software.
NOTE: The internal CMOS battery is dead and needs to be replaced. Certain BIOS settings such as the date/time and other settings will be lost if the laptop is disconnected from power.
