Overview

The ZPE Systems Nodegrid Serial Console T16r (R Series) is a high-density, out-of-band management console server built to refresh and consolidate data center and remote infrastructure management. It offers 16 RJ45 Cisco-rolled serial ports for direct connections to routers, switches, servers, and other network gear, backed by dual SFP+ and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports to keep management traffic free from bottlenecks. Powered by a multi-core Intel CPU, 4GB of DDR4 RAM, and 32GB of encrypted SSD storage running a 64-bit Linux OS, the T16r handles 1,000+ concurrent sessions with high-performance port logins (under 1 second on SSH). It supports vendor-neutral managed power (PDU) and IPMI device integration (OpenBMC, HP iLO, Dell iDRAC, Cisco CIMC/UCS, IBM IMM, Oracle ILOM, and more), along with policy-based enterprise authentication, SSL/SSH encryption, IP filtering, secure boot, disk self-encryption, and TPM support. This configuration includes dual AC power supplies for redundancy. This unit has been pulled from service, fully tested, and is in AS NEW condition.
